George Michael Mukula Jr Honored at Fortebet Real Stars Awards

Kololo, Uganda – In a night celebrating sporting excellence, George Michael Mukula Junior was recognized for his outstanding performance at the Fortebet Real Stars awarding ceremony held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Lazo Bar and Restaurant. The event highlighted remarkable achievements across various sports, with Mukula Junior taking home the accolade in motorsport.

Navigated by Edward Kiyingi, Mukula Junior clinched the award following his impressive victory in the ARC2 category during the prestigious 2024 Rwanda Mountain Gorilla Rally. Driving a pro-drive prepared Subaru Impreza N14, he finished second overall, just behind defending champion Karan Patel from Kenya.
Receiving his accolade from Resty Mbatidde, a Fortebet official, Mukula Junior expressed gratitude for the recognition and support he has received throughout his racing career. “This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of my team and the support from my fans,” he said.
Mukula Junior currently stands second on the ARC leaderboard with 47 points, making him the highest-ranked Ugandan driver, trailing behind Patel, who leads with 140 points. With Mangat in third place with 28 points, Mukula Junior is focused on improving his standings in the upcoming Guru Nanak Equator Rally, set to take place in Voi, Kenya, from November 29 to December 1, 2024.
