UMC Fort Portal Tourism City Rally 2024 Action-Packed Fans Itinerary Explained
Day 1: 10th August 2024
Rally Start point: Kalya Courts Hotel
- 08:30 am: The rally begins at Kalya Courts Hotel. This is where the first car will depart to kick off the day’s events.
Competitive stage1 (CS1) – Harugongo 1
- 08:48 am: The first car is expected to start Harugongo 1. This stage covers a distance of 36.31 km and involves navigating through scenic but challenging roads in Harugongo. It’s an exciting start to the rally as participants tackle this segment.
Service Break at Kyakaigo 30minutes
- 09:18 am: After the first stage, there is a 30-minute service break at Kyakaigo. Teams will use this time for essential car maintenance, refueling, and adjustments to ensure their vehicles are in top condition for the repeat of Harugongo stage.
Competitive stage 2 (CS2) – Harugongo 2
- 10:36 am: The first car will start at Harugongo 2, covering the same 36.31 km distance which will be a repeat of the first stage. Expect a fresh surge of intensity as drivers tackle the stage with renewed vigor.
- Service Break at Kyakaigo
- 11:06 am: Another 30-minute service break at Kyakaigo. This is a critical stop for any necessary repairs or tuning before the afternoon’s superspecial stages.
Super Special Stage 3A – Kyakaigo
- 02:10 pm: The first cars start the Special Stage 3A in Kyakaigo, covering 3.12 km this stage is designed to dazzle with rapid maneuvers and skillful driving.
- SuperSpecial Stage 3B – Kyakaigo
- 03:54 pm: The action continues with the SuperSpecial Stage 3B, also in Kyakaigo. Covering another 3.12 km Experience the day’s climax with more jaw-dropping speed and precision..
End of Day 1
- The rally for the first day concludes after the second special stage. Participants and spectators can unwind and prepare for the next day’s challenges.
Day 2: 11th August 2024
Competitive Stage 4 (CS4) – Mukwano Karmali
- 08:16 am: The second day begins with the Mukwano Karmali stage (former Rwenzori). This stage covers 15.21 km and presents a new set of challenges with its unique terrain through the tea plantations .
Competitive Stage 5 (CS5) – Sewava Kivumbi
- 08:47 am: Following Mukwano Karmali, the rally moves to Sewava Kivumbi (Mpanga), where the first car will start the stage at 08:47 am. This stage spans 12.55 km and offers a different driving experience, showcasing the rally’s variety.
Competitive Stage 6 (CS6) – Segamu 14 Consults
- 09:15 am: The next Stage is Segamu 14 Consults, with a distance of 12.82 km. This Competitive stage continues the excitement as drivers push their limits through another distinct course.
Competitive Stage 7 (CS7) – Out Look Uganda 1
- 09:38 am: Out Look Uganda 1 is a shorter, 5.52 km stage where the first car will arrive around 09:38 am. This stage is designed for speed and precision, providing a high-energy segment for both drivers and spectators.
Service Break at Kyakaigo
10:08 AM: A final 30-minute service break at Kyakaigo allows teams to make any last-minute tweaks and prep for the ultimate showdown
Competitive stage 8 (CS8) – Out Look Uganda 2
- 10:49 AM: The rally concludes with Out Look Uganda 2, a climactic 5.52 km stage. This power stage is the grand finale, showcasing drivers’ skills in a dramatic and intense fight for extra points.
End of Rally
- The rally concludes after the final stage, marking the end of the competition and a celebration of the drivers’ and teams’ efforts throughout the event.
