Born on May 14th, 2010, Jason is the son of renowned rally driver John Burrows Lumu, inheriting a passion for motorsports from his family lineage.
Currently a Grade 7 scholar at Asifuwe International School, Jason’s journey into motorcross began in 2020 during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Under the mentorship of coach Sekito Shafiq in Busiika, Jason honed his skills and quickly established himself as a promising talent in the sport.
Despite his young age, Jason displays a remarkable level of maturity and determination, fueled by his desire to one day become a motorcross champion. While acknowledging the immense challenges that lie ahead, Jason remains undeterred in his pursuit of excellence on the track.
As an 85cc rider, Jason understands the importance of patience and perseverance in the highly competitive world of motorcross. Drawing inspiration from seasoned riders such as Fortune Sentamu and Omar Yasser, who are making waves in the MX2 category, Jason is continuously pushing himself to new heights.
