Uganda Shines at FIA University Graduation Ceremony in Kigali, Marking a New Era in Motorsport Excellence
The recently concluded FIA University graduation ceremony in Kigali marked a historic milestone for Uganda’s motorsport sector, showcasing the nation’s growing influence and commitment to excellence in the sport. With the FIA rolling out a series of specialized programs aimed at empowering global members with the essential skills and knowledge to advance motorsport, Uganda emerged as a beacon of achievement. Over 11 graduates from Uganda excelled across various programs, reinforcing the country’s standing as a key player in the global motorsport arena.
One of the standout programs at the graduation was the Modern Sport Governance course, designed to equip participants with essential tools for effective management and the sustainable development of motorsport organizations. Uganda was proudly represented by an impressive cohort of graduates, including:

Another key achievement for Uganda was in the Certificate in Motorsport Leadership and Management program, which focused on honing leadership abilities and strategic planning within the realm of motorsport administration. Additionally, Reynolds Kibira proudly completed the Regional Stewards Training Program, a specialized course designed to sharpen the expertise of stewards in overseeing motorsport events. With this accomplishment, Kibira is poised to contribute to raising the standards of race officiating in Uganda and beyond.
